It was a privilege moment for the center that Annual Science Examination was conducted on 11^th May 2018, in the majestic assembly hall of Drepung Losel Ling Monastery graced by Honorable Abbot, Lama Shunglenpa, Gekoe, Uzed and Chief Administrator. About 221 monk students of 5 classes appeared for their annual science examination viz: Mathematics, Physical Science, Life Science and Neuro Science.

After the historic guidance of H.H the Dalai Lama to impart and blend science education with the traditional Indo-Tibetan Buddhist educational system for monks and nuns preserved in the great monastic Institutions of Tibet, it was first time in the Drepung Losel Ling Monastery that the examination was conducted under the aegis of Losel Ling Examination Board.

The outline of Science Course at the Drepung Losel Ling was developed under ETSI (Emory-Tibet Science Initiatives), the collaborative project of Emory University, USA and Library of Tibetan Works and Archives.
