Emory-Tibet Science Initiative celebrated its first monastic graduation event in the presence of His Holiness the Dalai Lama at Drepung Gomang Monastery’s new debate courtyard on 14 December 2019. The celebration included Implementation Phase Completion Ceremony, the conferral of diploma to the monastic students, and three-panel discussion. 233 graduating monastic students had received their diplomas from Gaden Tri Rinpoche.
